Definitions
*Customer: A customer is a person that has a continuing relationship with The Farmers Bank for a personal, family, or household purpose.
*Affiliate: An affiliate is a company that The Farmers Bank owns or controls, or a company that owns or controls us.

*We, our, and us: means The Farmers Bank
*You and Your: means present and former customers of The Farmers Bank
What Information We Collect
We may collect nonpublic personal information, such as your income, Social Security number, and address about you from the following sources:
- Information we receive from you on applications or other loan and account forms;
- Information that we receive from processing your accounts with us and the transactions in those accounts, as well as information that we receive from providing services to you; and
- Information we receive from third parties such as a consumer reporting agency and credit bureaus.
The USA Patriot Act requires the bank to obtain a copy of identification documents whenever a new account is opened or owners/signers are added to an existing account. We may need to request a copy of your identification documents if we do not have a copy on file.
What Information We Disclose
We may disclose information about our experiences or transactions with you to our affiliates.
We may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements.
We may also disclose nonpublic personal information about you to nonaffiliated third parties as permitted by law, such as servicing your account with us, sending information returns to the Internal Revenue Service, responding to subpoenas and providing information to consumer reporting agencies, i.e. credit bureaus.
If you decide to close your account or become an inactive customer, we will adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described in this notice.

We restrict access to your personal and account information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We also maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.
